Refund policy

At Outlayer, we do not support general returns or exchanges for "change of mind" or "wrong size ordered."

Please read our policy carefully to ensure a smooth experience.

1. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

We take quality seriously. If you receive a product that is misprinted, damaged, or defective, we will provide a free replacement.

  • Mandatory Unboxing Video: To claim a replacement, you must provide a clear video of the unboxing process. The video should clearly show the shipping label and the defect in the product.

  • 7-Day Reporting Window: You must report the issue within 7 days of delivery. Requests made after this window will not be eligible for a free replacement.
  • How to Report: Email us at Us@outlayer.in with your Order ID, photos, and the unboxing video.

  • Note: Subtle color variations may occur between the digital mockup and the physical product due to screen settings and the printing process on fabric. This is not considered a defect.

2. Size Exchanges

Since we print every item to order, we cannot offer exchanges for size issues.

  • Check the Size Chart: A detailed size chart is available on every product page. Streetwear fits vary (Standard vs. Oversized), so please measure a shirt you already own before ordering.

  • ±0.5 Inch Tolerance: Please note that a measurement tolerance of ±0.5 inches is standard in the apparel industry and is not considered a defect.

3. Lost in Transit

If your order is lost during shipping (confirmed by our courier partner), we will reproduce and re-ship your order at no additional cost to you.

In cases of 'Fake Delivery' (order marked delivered but not received), you must notify us within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp. After this window, we/our courier partners cannot entertain claims.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can only be cancelled within 2 hours of placement.

  • Once an order moves into our backend, it can no longer be cancelled or modified.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items on "Final Sale" or "Clearance."

  • Items that have been washed, worn, or have had tags removed.

  • Customized gear with your specific name/text.

6. Refunds (If Applicable)

Refunds are only issued if a replacement for a defective item is unavailable.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

  • For COD orders, refunds will be issued as store credit or via bank transfer (subject to verification).

  • If a return is approved as a special exception, the customer is responsible for self-shipping the item to our partner warehouse. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
